- After you click on the
3D image from each trip report it might ask you if you want to
"Open" or "Save" the download.
- If it asks, choose "Open".
- After that, it will probably
come up with a window that will show a file called "doc.kml".
- Double click that file.
- This will open up Google
Earth (assuming you have it installed already).
- Once Google Earth is up,
it should "fly" you to an overview of the trail, with the trail being
red in color.
- To play the small "tour"
of the trail, click the "Play" button on the left side of the Google
Earth screen as shown below...
