Black Tie Dinner

November 2008

Seal is one of the most underrated musicians this side of the Mississippi. ESPN is biased towards the northeast corner of the country. AT&T coverage is pitiful. I still bite my nails and try to wash my cars every week. I've lost 1 inch of vertical jumping ability every year since I turned 30 - once a man loses his vertical, it's all over. I still remember my first cup of joe at the Thousand Trails campground lodge in Pacific City, Oregon on a Y.O.U. trip. Radiant heat from a wood stove is better than forced air heat from a furnace. I switched from a halogen to a LED headlamp. Watch out for elk west of Packwood. Gas was $1.65 in Tacoma in June of 2004. Smashing Pumpkin's "Mayonaise" converted me to alt rock in Lovina's Chevy Lumina coming back from Spokane - Pearl Jam's "Alive" kept me converted to alt rock in Aaron's S10 Blazer on Highway 6 out west.
